Image of Cloverfield Monster

I have to admit. I am really excited about Cloverfield. Or 1-18-08. Or “that top secret project from J.J. Abrams”. What ever you want to call it, it has been pretty cool watching the hype build. Fan sites and plot sites have been popping up all over the net. Yes, I have a Slusho desktop.

I went through a phase months ago of trying to digest every piece of information out there. I went down some interesting rabbit holes and ended up where everyone else did. Slusho and the Apple exclusive teaser.

Now Apple has the trailer. And it is pretty cool, and for the first time you get a glimpse of the monster. I think this is going to be the H.P. Lovecraft character, but that is just me. The WikiPedia page has a bunch of info.

So, in an effort to contribute to the madness, here is a screen grab from the clearest frame in the trailer. That ain’t no robot!
